ABOUT TYCAM
TYCAM-TECH was founded by Ty, a graduating senior at Harvard-Westlake School and an incoming Computer Science major at the University of Southern California’s Viterbi School of Engineering (Class of 2029). Ty’s passion for coding began at the age of 10 when he took an after-school coding class taught by high school students from Brentwood School. That early experience not only sparked his interest in technology but also inspired him to create his own platform to share the power of coding with younger students.
Recognizing the value of early exposure to computer science, Ty launched TYCAM-TECH with the mission to provide accessible and engaging coding education to students in grades 5 through 7. He believes that learning to code at a young age is a transformative skill that opens doors to innovation, creativity, and future careers in the tech industry.
TYCAM-TECH is committed to making quality coding instruction affordable and inclusive, empowering the next generation of creators, thinkers, and leaders in technology.
